Cherié and Mike live in Seattle [although eventually plan on moving to Leavenworth] and get outdoors whenever they can.  They are actively involved in the Mountaineers Climbing program and also enjoy skiing, hiking, kayaking and travel.   They try to work to live, rather than live to work!

Mike's daughter, Annie, is 17 and a senior at Bainbridge High School.  Annie plays the Piano (Cherié also plays the Piano.  Mike is musically challenged!), and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities as well. 

Mike is a business and real estate lawyer.  Cherié is a developer for Microsoft IT.  Mike is an avid photographer and has taken many of the pictures on this site.   You may see more of Mike's photographs at www.MountainGroovePhotography.com.
